Hi, I’m Sally,

…co-founder of All Birth, mama to one, hypnobirthing teacher, and a positive birth enthusiast.

Since training as a hypnobirthing teacher in 2017 I have loved being able to guide families through pregnancy, birth and beyond; watching them grow and begin their journeys together positively and confidently.

A positive start to such a life changing event can only be a good thing, it’s something that we as a family can vouch for and still informs our day to day life.

When I’m not busy spreading the love, I can be found renovating our house (my other passion…), or hanging out by the seaside, (definitely good for the soul!).

I’m always happy to chat, so if you have any questions do get in contact.

Sending Love!

My hypnobirthing journey began with the birth of my son,

…we conceived with the help of IVF, so I knew I wanted to enjoy this time as much as I could. But as time went on, and birth grew nearer, my brain started asking questions – how is this baby going to come out? How will I know what to do when the time comes? How will I know if the time has come? And then the questions started from others, ‘when are you due?’, ‘are you ready?’... Anxiety started to creep in – surely there must be some way to prepare for this next stage. I knew I didn’t want to aimlessly start googling ‘birth’ and ‘labour’ – I had a sneaking suspicion that that would only serve, at best, to confuse me and at worst, scare me.

I turned to my best friend, a hypnobirthing teacher. I wasn’t really sure what it would entail but I loved the fact that I could do something practical with my birth partner, my husband, to prepare. It felt right that this time was spent as a family making space in our ‘old life’ for our 'new life'.

Learning about the physiology for birth was so valuable, remembering that this was a natural process that my body was designed to do; the hormones involved; the role my baby would actively take, made a huge difference to my mind set.

It felt like preparing to run a marathon, it would take work, but with practice we would be capable of taking this journey together, and, I was even beginning to look forward to it…
