At All Birth we believe 'it takes a village'.
Here are some of the fellow practitioners we love to work with.
Natasha de grunwald
Natasha de Grunwald is a skilled and experienced multi-disciplined health practitioner and teacher and has worked in the complimentary field for over 28 years. She has busy private practices in London and Brighton where she works with babies, teenagers, adults, pregnant/post-partum women and the elderly.
Specialising in the Bowen Technique, a gentle, safe and effective therapy that stimulates the body’s natural healing response. This technique has an effect on the whole body and can be used to address a wide range of conditions.
During pregnancy the Bowen technique can help with pelvic alignment and SPD , back pain, sciatica, water retention, reflux and it can help if overdue. It is a non-invasive and deeply relaxing treatment.
A treatment usually lasts between 30-45 minutes and is given through the clothes, most often on a massage couch. Natasha makes a few gentle rolling type moves with thumbs or fingers in precise places around the body before stepping out of the room. This therapeutic pause gives space for a response and change to happen. The session continues like this for the duration with Natasha asking for feedback and assessing as she goes.
Another area of Natasha’s skill set and deep knowledge is traditional healing practices that support and nourish the body using ancient herbal recipes, steams, massage, medicinal balms and liniments and hot herbal compresses. These are extremely beneficial postpartum as they support faster healing and recovery.
Natasha is a leading teacher in the field of complimentary therapy and teaches professional courses in London and around the UK.
